Formal + Texas Flair

We encourage guests to dress in formal attire—think elevated, festive, and Napa Valley chic. Midi or floor-length dresses, elegant sets, or dressy jumpsuits are perfect for women, while suits are great for men. Tuxedos are not required. In honor of the groom’s Texas roots, a touch of Texas flair is always welcome. The ceremony will take place on grass, and Napa Valley evenings can get chilly, so we recommend appropriate shoes and bringing a light layer.

St. Helena is a small town in Napa Valley with a variety of wonderful places to stay. We’ve included a few hotel recommendations below in St. Helena, Calistoga, and Yountville, all within a short drive of our wedding venue. Airbnb and VRBO options do exist in the area, though they can be somewhat limited. October is a beautiful and busy time in Napa Valley, so we encourage guests to book accommodations early.

Harvest Inn is a charming Napa Valley hotel set among vineyards just outside downtown St. Helena. The property features beautiful wine country grounds, cozy accommodations, and classic Napa Valley scenery. Located about a 5–6 minute drive from our wedding venue, it’s a wonderful option for guests looking for a relaxing and convenient place to stay during the weekend.

A Napa Valley classic for burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Don’t miss the secret menu mini corn dogs — one of Julia’s personal favorites.

Honor Market 

One of the first places Julia took Charlie and his mom, Kelli, on her first trip to Napa. A hot dog and root beer float here are hard to beat. Pro tip: take a walk down nearby Yount Mill Road after — you might spot the Texas longhorns grazing in the fields.
